Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure that fills in thin eyebrow areas to make them look fuller while maintaining a natural look. Microblading may last between 1 and 3 years and should be touched up once color begins to fade.

Unlike microblading, microshading does not tattoo full strokes along the browline, but rather small points to “shade” in sparse areas. Instead of creating the illusion of individual hairs, microshading enhances the eyebrow by filling in the entire brow with light pigmentation through the use of a fine tipped needle creating a more powder and ombre look.

Microfeathering is a microblading technique that is more for clients with naturally full brows. During this process, the brows are only filled in sparse areas to create natural appearing eyebrow hair. Clients should not wax, tweeze, or thread their brows for 30 days prior to the appointment to allow the artist to follow the natural brow pattern.
